EcoQuest Alpine Fresh Living Air Settles For $3,000

In June 2021, the California Air Resources Board and EcoQuest Alpine Fresh Living Air (EcoQuest) of Valley Glen, California reached a settlement agreement in the amount of $3,000. The company sold, supplied and offered for sale in California uncertified indoor air cleaning devices in violation of the Regulation for Limiting Ozone Emissions from Indoor Air Cleaning Devices, title 17, California Code of Regulations section 94800 et seq. EcoQuest also failed to include an advisory statement on its webpage excluding sales of uncertified devices to California. To come into compliance, the company ceased all sales of uncertified indoor air cleaning devices in California.
