California Air Resources Board

The California Air Resources Board (CARB or Board) staff announces the release of the 2022 State Strategy for the State Implementation Plan: Draft Measures (2022 State SIP Strategy: Draft Measures), and invites you to participate in a public workshop on Tuesday, October 19, 2021. During the workshop, staff will walk through the potential State measures CARB staff is considering to support attainment of the 70 parts per billion (ppb) 8-hour ozone standard across California. The 2022 State SIP Strategy: Draft Measures includes potential CARB measures developed by staff, some of which are already undergoing independent public processes, potential federal actions and/or CARB petitions for federal actions, and potential State measures suggested by members of the public. During the workshop, we encourage you to ask questions, engage in discussion with CARB staff, provide feedback on staff’s draft measures, and suggest additional potential measures for the State to pursue.
