Greenhouse Gas Standards for Medium- and Heavy-Duty Engines and Vehicles
CARB has adopted greenhouse gas (GHG) standards that largely align with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) GHG standards for new medium- and heavy-duty engines, vehicles, and trailers sold in California. The regulations will reduce GHG emissions from on-road medium- and heavy-duty vehicles.
