California Air Resources Board

California Air Resources Board (CARB) staff hosted a public workshop to discuss potential updates to the Landfill Methane Regulation. This was the second workshop focused on gathering public feedback on potential improvements to the regulation. The first half of the workshop featured an operator panel discussion on best practices for landfill design and gas management, and a presentation on advanced technologies for leak detection. The second half of the workshop featured CARB staff’s presentation of potential updates to the Regulation.
