Contacto
Updates as of October 1, 2025
On June 30, after a comprehensive review of the 62 SMMI Community Air Monitoring Plans (CAMPs) and upon conclusion of a 14-day public comment period, CARB granted approval of specific broad area monitoring components in each of the 62 CAMPs. The following sections of each of the 62 CAMPs were approved to proceed as proposed:
- Section 7.1 “Monitoring equipment” (only the language that pertains to Aclima broad area monitoring equipment)
- Section 7.2 “Monitoring methods – broad area monitoring“
- Section 8.2 “Broad Area Monitoring Coverage”
- Section 9.1 “Aclima’s Quality Assurance and Quality Control Procedures”
- Section 10 “Data management” (only the language that pertains to Aclima broad area monitoring)
- Section 11.1 “Broad area monitoring”
Several components of the plans, particularly those involving targeted area monitoring, remain unapproved for some plans and are undergoing revisions in response to feedback received during the second public comment period, which closed on July 17. When CAMP revisions are complete, updated plans will be submitted individually to CARB for approval. Comments received during the public review periods can be found in Appendix J.
CAMP approvals are posted in the table below. All 62 CAMPs are now fully approved for monitoring.
