California Air Resources Board

The California Air Resources Board (CARB) and the United States Coast Guard (USCG), Eleventh District regularly meet to discuss and coordinate on the recently amended Commercial Harbor Craft (CHC) Regulation, California Code of Regulations, title 17, section 93118.5, and title 13, section 2299.5, which became effective on December 30, 2022. Coordination focuses on implementation topics, including the use of CARB-verified DPFs installed on commercial harbor craft engines.
